In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Randolph Southern Rebels baseball team scored a tight 9-7 victory over the Liberty Christian Lions.

The Rebels (4-13) will now prepare for their game against Monroe Central (Parker City, IN). The Golden Bears go into the Mid-Eastern game with a 6-18 record. In their last game, Monroe Central by Winchester Community (Winchester, IN), 10-7, in a non-league contest.

The Lions now sport a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Attica for a non-league contest on Saturday, May 18. Liberty Christian will encounter a Red Ramblers squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to Seeger (West Lebanon, IN). The Red Ramblers record now stands at 4-17.
