New York High School Volleyball - New Dorp over Hillcrest
May 15, 2024: Staten Island, NY 10306 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the New Dorp Central Cougars (Staten Island, NY) and the visiting Hillcrest Hawks (Jamaica, NY), saw New Dorp's volleyball squad beat Hillcrest by a tally of 2-0.
With the triumph, New Dorp advances its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Central Cougars travel to John Jay (Cross River, NY) to battle the Wolves in a non-league match on Friday, May 17. The Wolves come into the match with a record of 10-1. John Jay won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Wagner (Staten Island, NY)
With the loss, Hillcrest drops to 7-4 on the campaign.
