Maine High School Softball - Fort Kent bounces Caribou
May 15, 2024: Fort Kent, ME 04743 Fort Kent Warriors (Fort Kent, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Caribou Vikings (Caribou, ME), 11-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Presque Isle for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 16. Fort Kent will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 16-2 league loss to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Caribou falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Vikings host Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME) to battle the Trojans in a Class B North challenge on Saturday, May 18. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 4-6. Mount Desert Island lost 23-3 in their recent league challenge against John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME)
