Maine High School Softball - Monmouth Academy can't get by Dirigo
May 15, 2024: Dixfield, ME 04224 The Dirigo Cougars softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Monmouth Academy Mustangs to 5 in the Cougars league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Dirigo moves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Cougars host Mount View (Thorndike, ME) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Monday, May 20. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 3-11. Mount View lost 12-2 in their recent league game against Washington Academy (East Machias, ME)
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Mount Abram Roadrunners (Strong, ME) in a Class C South game, on Friday, May 17. Monmouth Academy will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Roadrunners come into the game with a 4-5 record after their 16-4 league loss to Dirigo (Dixfield, ME).
