Maine High School Softball - Gray-New Gloucester falls to York
May 15, 2024: Gray, ME 04039 In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting York Wildcats softball team scored a nice 13-3 win over the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots.
Coming up next, the Wildcats battle the Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME) in a Class B South outing, on Monday, May 20. York will attempt to upgrade on its 11-0 season record. The Falcons enter the outing with a 9-1 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME).
The Patriots (0-10) will now prepare for their outing against St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME). The Saints enter the non-league outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, St. Dominic ran past Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME), 17-5, in a non-league outing.
