Minnesota High School Softball - Woodbury bounces Jefferson
May 15, 2024: Woodbury, MN 55125 Woodbury Royals (Woodbury, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Jefferson Jaguars (Bloomington, MN), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Royals now own a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Forest Lake for a Suburban East challenge on Thursday, May 16. Woodbury will battle a Rangers squad coming off a 11-1 league win over East Ridge (Woodbury, MN). The Rangers record now stands at 15-4.
With the loss, Jefferson falls to 12-6 on the campaign. The Jaguars host New Prague (New Prague, MN) to battle the Trojans in a Metro West challenge on Thursday, May 16. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 15-3. New Prague lost 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Orono (Long Lake, MN)
