New Jersey High School Softball - Nutley bounces West Milford
May 15, 2024: Nutley, NJ 07110 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Nutley Maroon Raiders (Nutley, NJ) and the visiting West Milford Highlanders (West Milford, NJ), witnessed Nutley's softball squad prevail over West Milford by a count of 16-6.
The Maroon Raiders now sport a 13-10 record. They play next when they travel to The Pingry School for a non-league match on Friday, May 17. Nutley will meet a Big Blue squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Hun (Princeton, NJ). The Big Blue record now stands at 12-9.
With the loss, West Milford moves to 11-11 on the season. The Highlanders host Wayne Hills (Wayne, NJ) to meet the Patriots in a Big North - Independence match on Thursday, May 16. The Patriots go into the match with a record of 5-13. Wayne Hills lost 12-0 in their recent league match against Fair Lawn (Fair Lawn, NJ)
