Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Tri Titans (Straughn, IN) and the visiting Union City Indians (Union City, IN), witnessed Tri's softball squad prevail over Union City by a count of 9-0.

The Titans now sport a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to Cambridge City Lincoln for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 21. Tri will meet a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Centerville (Centerville, IN). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 7-10.

With the loss, Union City moves to 8-15 on the season. The Indians travel to Daleville (Daleville, IN) to meet the Broncos in a non-league match on Saturday, May 18. The Broncos go into the match with a record of 11-9. Daleville lost 17-6 in their recent league match against Shenandoah (Middletown, IN)
