The Iola Mustangs (Iola, KS) baseball got by the host Anderson County Bulldogs (Garnett, KS), 8-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 17-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Humboldt for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 20. Iola will clash with a Cubs team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Osawatomie (Osawatomie, KS). The Cubs record now stands at 19-4.
