May 15, 2025: Cooter, MO 63839 Cooter Wildcats (Cooter, MO) followers left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Holcomb Hornets (Holcomb, MO), 7-4 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Cooter moves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Gideon (Gideon, MO) to face the Bulldogs in a Class 1 District 1 battle on Saturday, May 17. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 7-8. Gideon won 19-4 in their recent league battle against Delta (Deering, MO)
Next, the Hornets face the Senath-Hornersville Lions (Senath, MO) in a Class 2 District 1 battle, on Saturday, May 17. Holcomb will attempt to upgrade on its 13-12 season record.
