Illinois High School Baseball - Metea Valley loses to DeKalb

The DeKalb Barbs walloped the visiting Metea Valley Mustangs baseball squad by a final score of 9-2 in Thursday's league contest.

With the triumph, DeKalb moves its record to 20-10 on the season. The Barbs travel to Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL) to confront the Chargers in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 17. The Chargers come into the contest with a record of 10-19. Dundee-Crown lost 11-1 in their recent league contest against Cary-Grove (Cary, IL)

The Mustangs now possess a 12-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aurora Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, May 17. Metea Valley will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 16-14.
