May 15, 2025: Grosse Ile, MI 48138 The Grosse Ile Red Devils (Grosse Ile, MI) baseball trounced the visiting Gabriel Richard Fighting Irish (Ann Arbor, MI), 9-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Red Devils now own a 8-15 record. They take the field next when they host Melvindale for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 16. Grosse Ile will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Cabrini (Allen Park, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 17-10.
With the defeat, Gabriel Richard drops to 12-22 on the year. The Fighting irish travel to Plymouth Christian Academy (Canton, MI) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 17. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 20-7. Plymouth Christian Academy won 16-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Lutheran Northwest (Rochester Hills, MI)
