Minnesota High School Baseball - Simley wallops Highland Park
May 15, 2025: St. Paul, MN 55116 The Simley Spartans baseball team scored 21 runs and held the host Highland Park Scots to 5 in the Spartans non-league win on Thursday.
The Spartans now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Hastings for a Classic Suburban test on Saturday, May 17. Simley will play a Raiders team coming off a 3-1 league loss to South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 5-11.
With the defeat, Highland Park drops to 12-5 on the year. The Scots travel to Richfield (Richfield, MN) to play the Spartans in a non-league test on Monday, May 19. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 9-8. Richfield lost 8-5 in their recent league test against Park Center/Columbia Heights/Maranatha (Brooklyn Park, MN)
