The Pike Central Chargers baseball squad (Petersburg, IN), was overwhelmed 16-3 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Washington Hatchets (Washington, IN)

With the triumph, Washington moves its record to 9-8 on the season. The Hatchets travel to Sullivan (Sullivan, IN) to confront the Golden Arrows in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 17. The Golden Arrows come into the contest with a record of 16-3. Sullivan lost 10-1 in their recent league contest against Greencastle (Greencastle, IN)
