Illinois High School Volleyball - Maine West can't get by Prospect
May 15, 2025: Mt. Prospect, IL 60056 Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Prospect improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Taft (Chicago, IL) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, May 17. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 18-7. Taft won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Brooks (Chicago, IL)
The Warriors now own a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leyden for a non-league test on Monday, May 19. Maine West will face a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Proviso West (Hillside, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 14-5.
