The Damascus Hornets softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Centennial Eagles to 3 in the Hornets non-league win on Thursday.

The Hornets now possess a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenelg for a non-league battle on Friday, May 16. Damascus will confront a Gladiators team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Middletown (Middletown, MD). The Gladiators record now stands at 12-3.

With the loss, Centennial moves to 12-7 on the season.
