Connecticut High School Softball - Cheney Tech succumbs to Kaynor Tech
May 15, 2025: Manchester, CT 06040 In Thursday's league test, the Kaynor Tech Panthers (Waterbury, CT) softball squad overwhelmed the host Cheney Tech Chargers (Manchester, CT), by a tally of 25-10.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Wright Tech Warriors (Stamford, CT) in a Connecticut Tech test, on Friday, May 16. Kaynor Tech will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 0-7 record after their 12-0 league loss to Wilcox RVT (Meriden, CT).
The Chargers (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Vinal RVT (Middletown, CT). The Hawks go into the Connecticut Tech test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Vinal RVT was routed by Windham RVT (Willimantic, CT), 19-5, in a league test.
