The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Royal Highlanders (Simi Valley, CA) and the host Citrus Valley Blackhawks (Redlands, CA), observed Royal's softball team get by Citrus Valley by a tally of 17-11.

The Highlanders (13-11) will now prepare for their bout against Kennedy (La Palma, CA). The Fighting Irish go into the non-league bout with a 11-15 record. In their last bout, Kennedy tipped Beaumont (Beaumont, CA), 9-1, in a non-league bout.
