May 15, 2025: Owen, WI 54460 Gilman Pirates (Gilman, WI) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Owen-Withee Blackhawks (Owen, WI), 19-2 in a league game.
With the triumph, Gilman upgrades its record to 7-6 on the year. The Pirates host Rib Lake (Rib Lake, WI) to play the Redmen in a non-league game on Monday, May 19. The Redmen enter the game with a record of 9-4. Rib Lake lost 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Stratford (Stratford, WI)
The Blackhawks now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Spencer for a Cloverbelt - East contest on Friday, May 16.
