May 15, 2025: Worthington, MN 56187 Windom Eagles (Windom, MN) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Worthington Trojans (Worthington, MN), 6-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Windom improves its record to 9-8 on the year. The Eagles host Fairmont (Fairmont, MN) to play the Cardinals in a South Central game on Friday, May 16. The Cardinals enter the game with a record of 13-6. Fairmont lost 13-1 in their recent league game against Jackson County Central (Jackson, MN)
The Trojans now hold a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Belle Plaine for a non-league game on Friday, May 16. Worthington will play a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to St. James (St. James, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 8-10.
