The Deep Creek Hornets baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Manor Mustangs to 2 in the Hornets non-league win on Friday.

The Hornets now hold a 4-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeland for a Southeastern test on Tuesday, May 19. Deep Creek will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 10-10.

With the defeat, Manor drops to 7-10 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Norview (Norfolk, VA) to play the Pilots in a Eastern test on Tuesday, May 19. The Pilots go into the test with a record of 5-14.
