Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets confront the East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 19. Salisbury will attempt to better on its 17-1 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 7-0 non-league win over West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC).
