Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots face the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 19. Independence will attempt to better on its 17-1 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC).

The Tigers now have a 12-9 record.
