May 16, 2023: Wanaque, NJ 07465 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ) and the host Lakeland Regional Lancers (Wanaque, NJ), saw Vernon's lacrosse team nudge Lakeland Regional by a margin of 10-9.
The Vikings (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Morristown (Morristown, NJ). The Colonials enter the Rizk challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Morristown was tipped by West Morris Central (Chester, NJ), 8-4, in a league challenge.
The Lancers (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Morris Knolls (Rockaway, NJ). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record.
