City Honors Centaurs (Buffalo, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY), 13-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Centaurs now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Maryvale for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 17. City Honors will face a Flyers squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Kennedy (Cheektowaga, NY). The Flyers record now stands at 3-11.

With the loss, Amherst Central falls to 2-16 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Grand Island (Grand Island, NY) to face the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 18. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 8-6. Grand Island lost 9-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Depew (Depew, NY)
