In Tuesday's league contest, the West Central Trojans (Francesville, IN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Frontier Falcons (Chalmers, IN), by a margin of 11-2.

With the triumph, West Central moves its record to 17-8 on the year. The Trojans host North Newton (Morocco, IN) to play the Spartans in a Midwest contest on Friday, May 19. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 14-7. North Newton 0-0 in their recent league contest against South Newton (Kentland, IN)

In their next game, the Falcons play the Kokomo Wildkats (Kokomo, IN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 18. Frontier will attempt to move on its 6-16 season record. The Wildkats come into the contest with a 13-12 record after their 13-2 non-league win over Lewis Cass (Walton, IN).
