May 16, 2023: Pittsburgh, PA 15202 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Jefferson-Morgan Rockets (Jefferson, PA) and the host Northgate Flames (Pittsburgh, PA), saw Jefferson-Morgan's softball squad nip Northgate by a count of 7-4.
The Rockets now sport a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frazier for a non-league match on Thursday, May 18. Jefferson-Morgan will face a Commodores squad coming off a 8-6 non-league win over Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA). The Commodores record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Northgate falls to 8-6 on the campaign.
