MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA), 12-4 in a league test.

With the win, MMI Preparatory School upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season.

With the defeat, Hanover Area falls to 3-13 on the season. The Hawkeyes host Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA) to battle the Trojans in a Wyoming Valley 2 test on Friday, May 17. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 8-11. Greater Nanticoke Area won 1-0 in their recent non-league game against Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA)
