May 16, 2024: Abington, MA 02351 The Nantucket Whalers triumphed over the host Abington Green Wave lacrosse team by a score of 14-4 in Thursday's non-league match.
With the win, Nantucket upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Whalers host Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury, MA) to play the Colonials in a non-league match on Saturday, May 18. The Colonials go into the match with a record of 6-9. Shrewsbury won 11-0 in their recent non-league match against Westborough (Westborough, MA)
With the defeat, Abington drops to 9-5 on the season. The Green wave travel to Sandwich (East Sandwich, MA) to play the Blue Knights in a non-league match on Monday, May 20. The Blue Knights go into the match with a record of 9-1.
