New Jersey High School Softball - Montclair gets by Columbia
May 16, 2024: Montclair, NJ 07042 The Montclair Mounties (Montclair, NJ) softball nipped the visiting Columbia Cougars (Maplewood, NJ), 3-2 in Thursday's league bout.
The Mounties (14-9) will now prepare for their bout against Clifton (Clifton, NJ). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 8-12 record. In their last bout, Clifton was edged by Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ), 6-0, in a league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 14-8 record. They play next when they host Mount St. Dominic Academy for a SEC - American bout on Friday, May 17.
