North Dakota High School Softball - Northern Cass bounces Maple River
May 16, 2024: Hunter, ND 58048 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Northern Cass Jaguars (Hunter, ND) and the visiting Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN), witnessed Northern Cass's softball squad prevail over Maple River by a count of 24-0.
The Jaguars now sport a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Hankinson/Campbell-Tintah/Fairmount for a Class B - Region 1 match on Saturday, May 18. Northern Cass will face a Rebels squad coming off a 27-3 league loss to Hillsboro/Central Valley (Buxton, ND). The Rebels record now stands at 6-8.
With the loss, Maple River moves to 9-9 on the season. The Eagles travel to Medford (Medford, MN) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, May 17. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 4-9. Medford lost 7-0 in their recent non-league match against Randolph (Randolph, MN)
