Sioux Valley Cossacks (Volga, SD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Sisseton Redmen (Sisseton, SD), 17-2 in a league challenge.

The Cossacks now own a 17-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sisseton for a Class A challenge on Thursday, May 16. Sioux Valley will face a Redmen squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Castlewood (Castlewood, SD). The Redmen record now stands at 3-10.
