Cedar Springs Red Hawks (Cedar Springs, MI) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Hastings Saxons (Hastings, MI), 5-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Cedar Springs advances its record to 8-21 on the season. The Red Hawks travel to Coopersville (Coopersville, MI) to battle the Broncos in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 20. The Broncos come into the match with a record of 19-3.

The Saxons now have a 1-24 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western for a Interstate 8 match on Monday, May 19. Hastings will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 15-4 non-league loss to Olivet (Olivet, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 7-9.
