In Friday's non-league bout, the Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Classical Purple (Providence, RI), by a tally of 11-0.

Next up, the Chargers encounter the Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) in a Division 2 bout, on Saturday, May 17. Chariho will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Crusaders enter the bout with a 7-8 record after their 9-5 non-league win over North Providence (North Providence, RI).

The Purple (3-14) will now prepare for their bout against Scituate (North Scituate, RI). The Spartans enter the Division 3 bout with a 9-7 record. In their last bout, Scituate was overwhelmed by Narragansett (Narragansett, RI), 9-1, in a non-league bout.
