New Jersey High School Baseball - Kittatinny Regional loses to Verona
May 16, 2025: Verona, NJ 07043 Verona Hillbillies (Verona, NJ) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Kittatinny Regional Cougars (Newton, NJ), 10-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Verona advances its record to 15-4 on the season. The Hillbillies travel to Nutley (Nutley, NJ) to battle the Maroon Raiders in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 20. The Maroon Raiders come into the match with a record of 14-12. Nutley lost 8-4 in their recent non-league match against Belleville (Belleville, NJ)
The Cougars now have a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parsippany Hills for a non-league match on Saturday, May 17.
