The Larkin Royals baseball squad (Elgin, IL), was overwhelmed 14-1 in Friday's league contest with the visiting West Chicago Wildcats (West Chicago, IL)

The Wildcats now own a 7-18 record. They take the field next when they host Riverside-Brookfield for a Metro Suburban - Red challenge on Monday, May 19. West Chicago will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-12.

With the defeat, Larkin drops to 4-24 on the year. The Royals host West Aurora (Aurora, IL) to clash with the Blackhawks in a Upstate Eight challenge on Monday, May 19. The Blackhawks go into the challenge with a record of 24-5. West Aurora won 12-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL)
