New York High School Baseball - Pavilion sneaks past Notre Dame Academy
May 16, 2025: Staten Island, NY 10301 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Pavilion Golden Gophers (Pavilion, NY) and the host Notre Dame Academy Gators (Staten Island, NY), saw Pavilion's baseball team get by Notre Dame Academy by a tally of 5-4.
The Golden Gophers (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Keshequa (Nunda, NY). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Keshequa held off Perry (Perry, NY), 5-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Gators face the Elba Lancers (Elba, NY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 19. Notre Dame Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Lancers enter the battle with a 7-5 record after their 7-3 league win over Oakfield-Alabama (Oakfield, NY).
