New Jersey High School Lacrosse - Pompton Lakes drops to Wayne Valley
May 16, 2025: Pompton Lakes, NJ 07442 Wayne Valley Indians (Wayne, NJ) backers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the host Pompton Lakes Cardinals (Pompton Lakes, NJ), 14-8 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Wayne Valley improves its record to 12-3 on the season. The Indians travel to NV - Old Tappan (Old Tappan, NJ) to play the Golden Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, May 17. The Golden Knights come into the game with a record of 10-3. NV - Old Tappan won 16-8 in their recent non-league game against Rutherford (Rutherford, NJ)
The Cardinals now have a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mahwah for a non-league game on Tuesday, May 20. Pompton Lakes will play a Thunderbirds team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Westwood (Washington Township, NJ). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 9-4.
