Maine High School Lacrosse - Waynflete tipped by Wells
May 16, 2025: Wells, ME 04090 Wells Warriors (Wells, ME) backers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting Waynflete Flyers (Portland, ME), 7-5 in a league game.
With the victory, Wells improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Sanford (Sanford, ME) to play the Spartans in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 20. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 5-3.
The Flyers now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yarmouth for a game on Tuesday, May 20. Waynflete will play a Clippers team coming off a 15-11 non-league loss to Marshwood (South Berwick, ME). The Clippers record now stands at 1-4.
