May 16, 2025: Elk Rapids, MI 49629 Marshall Redhawks (Marshall, MI) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Elk Rapids Elks (Elk Rapids, MI), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Marshall moves its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Redhawks travel to Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI) to clash with the Titans in a non-league test on Saturday, May 17. The Titans come into the test with a record of 14-4. Traverse City West won 3-1 in their recent league test against Petoskey (Petoskey, MI)
The Elks now sport a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they host Cheboygan for a non-league test on Monday, May 19. Elk Rapids will clash with a Chiefs team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Alpena (Alpena, MI). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-4.
