The Jenison Wildcats baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Northview Wildcats to 8 in the Wildcats non-league win on Friday.

The Wildcats now own a 21-6 record. They take the field next when they host Portage Central for a non-league test on Saturday, May 17. Jenison will play a Mustangs team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over St. Joseph (St. Joseph, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 20-3.

With the defeat, Northview drops to 16-5 on the year. The Wildcats host Union (Grand Rapids, MI) to play the Red Hawks in a non-league test on Monday, May 19. The Red Hawks go into the test with a record of 2-6. Union won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Hopkins (Hopkins, MI)
