Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting Morris Hills Knights (Rockaway, NJ), 6-3 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Lenape Valley advances its record to 10-8 on the season. The Patriots host Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ) to play the Crusaders in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 20. The Crusaders come into the game with a record of 5-11. Morris Catholic won 17-16 in their recent non-league game against Eastern Christian (North Haledon, NJ)

The Knights now sport a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hackettstown for a non-league game on Monday, May 19. Morris Hills will play a Tigers team coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Nutley (Nutley, NJ). The Tigers record now stands at 3-13.
