Massachusetts High School Lacrosse - Providence Country Day drops to Taunton
May 16, 2025: Taunton, MA 02780 Taunton Tigers (Taunton, MA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the visiting Providence Country Day Knights (East Providence, RI), 5-1 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Taunton advances its record to 1-10 on the season. The Tigers host North Quincy (North Quincy, MA) to play the Raiders in a non-league game on Monday, May 19. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 0-0.
The Knights now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coventry for a Division 3 game on Saturday, May 17. Providence Country Day will play a Oakers team coming off a 8-7 league loss to Narragansett (Narragansett, RI). The Oakers record now stands at 6-6.
