The Riverside Beavers softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Champion Golden Flashes to 2 in the Beavers non-league win on Friday.

The Beavers now sport a 21-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley Forge for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 20. Riverside will confront a Patriots team coming off a 18-14 non-league win over Lorain (Lorain, OH). The Patriots record now stands at 1-19.

With the loss, Champion moves to 18-5 on the season. The Golden flashes host Liberty (Youngstown, OH) to confront the Leopards in a non-league battle on Monday, May 19.
