In Friday's league match, the visiting Darien Blue Wave softball team scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Ridgefield Tigers.

The Blue Wave (14-3) will now prepare for their match against McMahon (Norwalk, CT). The Senators go into the Fairfield County match with a 4-12 record.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) in a Fairfield County match, on Monday, May 19. Ridgefield will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record. The Rams go into the match with a 10-2 record after their 2-1 league loss to St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT).
