May 16, 2025: Newark, NJ 07105 Montclair Kimberley Academy Cougars (Montclair, NJ) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host East Side Red Raiders (Newark, NJ), 16-0 in a league game.
With the triumph, Montclair Kimberley Academy upgrades its record to 10-8 on the year. The Cougars host Gill St. Bernard's (Gladstone, NJ) to play the Knights in a non-league game on Monday, May 19. The Knights enter the game with a record of 10-9. Gill St. Bernard's lost 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Somerville (Somerville, NJ)
The Red Raiders now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Science Park for a non-league game on Monday, May 19. East Side will play a Chargers squad coming off a 17-8 non-league loss to Newark Central (Newark, NJ). The Chargers record now stands at 7-6.
