Connecticut High School Softball - Notre Dame Prep bounces Kolbe-Cathedral
May 16, 2025: Bridgeport, CT 06604 In Friday's league match, the visiting Notre Dame Prep Lancers softball team scored a nice 21-1 victory over the Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars.
The Lancers (9-8) will now prepare for their match against Stratford (Stratford, CT). The Red Devils go into the Southwest - Colonial match with a 6-9 record. In their last match, Stratford was routed by Newtown (Newtown, CT), 13-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Joel Barlow Falcons (Redding, CT) in a Southwest - Colonial match, on Monday, May 19. Kolbe-Cathedral will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record. The Falcons go into the match with a 1-9 record after their 15-1 league loss to Pomperaug (Southbury, CT).
