The Mother McAuley Mighty Macs softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Payton College Prep Grizzlies to 2 in the Mighty Macs non-league win on Friday.

The Mighty Macs now possess a 11-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fenwick for a GCAC- Red battle on Saturday, May 17. Mother McAuley will confront a Friars team coming off a 10-5 league win over Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL). The Friars record now stands at 11-8.

With the loss, Payton College Prep moves to 12-14 on the season. The Grizzlies host Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL) to confront the Lions in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 17.
