May 16, 2026: New Haven, CT 06511 The Wilbur Cross Governors overwhelmed the visiting Morgan Hukies softball squad by a count of 26-11 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Governors meet the Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 20. Wilbur Cross will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to North Branford (North Branford, CT).
The Hukies (0-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Stonington (Stonington, CT). The Bears go into the non-league challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Stonington toppled Plainfield (Central Village, CT), 12-0, in a non-league challenge.
