In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Chesterton Trojans baseball team scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Portage Indians.

The Trojans (10-11) will now prepare for their game against Columbus North (Columbus, IN). The Bull Dogs go into the non-league game with a 14-9 record. In their last game, Columbus North ran past Fishers (Fishers, IN), 5-0, in a non-league game.

The Indians (8-17) will now prepare for their game against Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN). The Kougars go into the non-league game with a 15-10 record. In their last game, Kankakee Valley was overwhelmed by Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN), 7-2, in a non-league game.
